I too had to break down and buy comfortable walking shoes. Even the most comfortable platform shoes won't get you through a day of walking without being in pain!

The best I found were Mephisto Allrounders. They are heaven on feet! Honestly, they are a bit sporty for me but still much better than sneakers. Not once did I even think about my feet hurting. They did get tired from all the walking, but no hurting or blisters at all. I had happy feet!!

I got the first ones listed on this link (Niro)...and they come in all sorts of cute color combinations.

My favourite and also most comfortable shoes for walking are currently Gianna an mj found in some shops here in Portugal, not sure whether they are Portuguese or Spanish. I tried buying a second pair as I am wearing out my first pair but it is getting late in the season for this style I guess so they only hade Smaller sizes left. Must try again in the bigger shops in Lisbon before it's too late.
